He has more than 26 years of experience in both litigation and non-litigation. He has provided tax, labour, and corporate-commercial advice to a number of organisations. As the an associate, he is in charge of KISS Global’s administrative affairs.

Tapan Kumar Roy, B.Tech (IIT, Kharagpur), Marine Engineer Class 1, Designated Associate of KISS GLOBAL MARINE SOLUTIONS LLP, served The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., India as Asst. General Manager & Senior Superintendent with 18 years sailing experience, 7 years as Chief Engineer, Technical Superintendent & 10 years of new building experience with 5 years as Site Manager. He has been in charge of a complete shipyard for almost 9 months in Bangladesh.
Also have experience for Plan Approval of VLCC, when working for The Shipping Corporation of India LTD. He has served as Executive Director in Narayangunge shipyard of Bangladesh, with Karnafuly Shipbuilders Ltd., Bangladesh. He has proven experience in leading team of shipbuilding professionals for various new constructions. He has good hold in overseas and has proven record of working overseas., he is one of KISS Global assets.

Tapas Kumar Biswas, Associate of KISS GLOBAL MARINE SOLUTIONS LLP holds M. Tech in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from IIT Kharagpur, India. (Dual Degree), NDT LEVEL II CERTIFICATION BY ASNT, for Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Radiographic Testing (RT). NDT EVALUATION TRAINING by ABS ACADEMY (Training on Non-Destructive Evaluation -DPT, MPT, UT and RT by ABS Academy, Shanghai.
Shri Biswas with over a decade of experience in Naval Architecture, was involved in design, quality control of Naval vessels. He has also served as Hull supervisor and surveyor. His project management skills and strategies made him the most sought-after person in his professional life. Started as Naval Architect, he is now the associate of KISS GLOBAL MARINE SOLUTIONS LLP. He has worked with various organizations like ABG Shipyard Ltd., Geden Lines, Schulte Marine Concept, Chellaram Shipping (Hong Kong) Ltd., and Anglo Eastern Technical Services. He has worked in the shipyards across Japan, China and S Korea and various types of vessels including Gas Carriers, chemical / crude oil Tankers, different types of bulk carriers. He is one of KISS Global assets.

Capt. Anil Kumar Sharma, Associate of KISS Global is a Master Mariner having over 25 years expertise in sailing. Prior to joining the shore services in 2001, he worked for the state-owned Shipping Corporation of India, where he mostly commanded Suez Max Tankers and VLCCs. He has received Safe Ship award while on board Suez Max Tanker MT Agrasen (2000-01).
One of his greatest achievements is his accident-free Sea career of about 25 years. Upon inducted ashore in The Shipping Corporation of India as Technical Superintendent he rose to the rank of Senior Vice President was in-charge of LPG, and LNG vessels. He was also in-charge of RGPPL Dabhol LNG Port management, PFMC of GAIL LNG vessels, and dry-dock cell and repair bill cell.
Post superannuation from SCI Ltd, he joined SWAN/TOPL as Senior Vice President and was in-charge of all marine operation of Jafrabad SWAN LNG Terminal Gujarat (SWAN) of also FSRU (TOPL). He has taken delivery of the First Indian Flag FSRU. Kiss Global is very proud to have him as an associate.

Debashis Ghosh, KISS Global’s Designated Partner, is MEO Class 1, FIE, F I Mar E, CE. Fellow Indian Institute of Insurance and Surveyor & Loss Assessor Surveyor, Life Member of Institute of Valuers. Mr. Ghosh is also a Fellow Member of the IRDA, with a licence in Marine Hull, Marine Cargo, and Miscellaneous.
He has over 30 years of experience as a marine Chief Engineer aboard a variety of vessels, including tankers, general cargo, multi-purpose vessels, bulk carriers, and container vessels. Mr. Ghosh’s experience as a surveyor includes valuation of machinery, ships, Marine Hull, Marine Cargo, Pre- berthing safety inspection of L P G vessel, Off hire – On hire of vessel, Bunker survey, Draught survey, pre- dispatch survey, Flag state inspection of Malta register vessel, Tank calibration, Towing operation. He is considered as the hidden gem of KISS Global.

Shyamal Bhattacharya, Designated Partner, KISS GLOBAL MARINE SOLUTIONS LLP, is a Marine Engineer (MEO Class I ), Science Graduate from Calcutta University. He has 22 years of sea experience including 7 years as Chief engineer. He is known for his astute strategies and problem-solving approach.
He also has 2 years of experience as Superintendent for various technical projects and 5 years as safety quality superintendent which includes MARPOL and Safety auditor and pre vetting inspector in OMI Marine services LLC.US
He was also appointed as New Ship Building Consultant served as a Lead Machinery and Site Manager for various new ship building projects consisting of VLCC, Oil tankers, Chemical tankers, Containers, Bulk carriers and Modern Dredger in different countries’ shipyards – Japan, China, Korea, Philippine and Netherlands with 11 years of experience. He is also known for his vast knowledge of the foreign market.

Capt. Atanu Ghosh, KISS Global’s Designated Partner, is a maritime expert with over 27 years of experience as a Master, commanding a range of dry cargo vessels, including General Cargo, Multi-purpose boats, extremely large Bulk Carriers, and Fully Refrigerated Cum Container carriers. He has worked for a number of reputable multi-national shipping corporations and has garnered significant experience at multiple international shipyards while receiving new vessels, dry-docking, and refitting ships throughout the years. In addition, he has worked with ship repair teams to complete major steel renewal and hard maintenance projects.
Capt. Ghosh, who holds a DNV Internal Auditor licence, has done internal ISM/ISPS/MLC audits on board own fleet vessels as well as other company vessels as an independent auditor. In recent years, he has successfully attended Rightship vetting inspections on a number of own fleet vessels. Meanwhile, Capt. Ghosh has been a regular faculty member at the “Indian Institute of Port Management” (IIPM), Kolkata, a FOSMA-sponsored institute. He is one of the true gems of KISS Global.

Saumitra Ghosh

Saumitra Ghosh, Designated Partner of KISS GLOBAL MARINE SOLUTIONS LLP, B.Sc., MEO Class 1, FIMarE, FIE, was destined to create a niche for himself in the marine sector. Mr. Ghosh with over three decades’ experience in the field of marine, worked with State Owned Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd. where 19 years he spent on sea serving various Cargo/ Break Bulk carriers, Bulk carriers, Container vessels, Passenger vessels and Tankers. Posted ashore, he served as Technical Superintending Engineer, served Offshore & Technical Services Department, SCI Mumbai between 2001 & 2005 as DGM. Posted in SCI’s Kolkata officein 2006, worked as GM / VP/ Technical Superintendent for PAX vessels & Research vessels. Concurrently held charges as VP In-Charge of Personnel & Administration & Repair Bills & Spare parts Procurement cell. Posted back in SCI, Mumbai office in 2013 as Vice President & overall In- charge of Liner Technical & Passenger Ship Division ( comprising Container, Passenger & Research vessels ). He represented SCI in various meetings with respect to Passenger vessels and Research vessels in Ministry of Shipping (MoS), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) & Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES). Further, he represented SCI as technical committee member of Joint Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (JSTAC) of MoES & DGLL (MoS).
Post superannuation from SCI, he served as Technical Director of Sarrk Global. Marine Consultant, Technical Advisor of Indian National Shipowners’ Association(INSA), Technical Head of Allcargo Shipping Company Pvt. Ltd and Ex-Technical Committee Member of IRS, BV & Lloyds Register.
Result-orientated with a positive outlook, he has been instrumental in KISS GLOBAL’s growth and achieving many milestones and his contribution is scaling KISS GLOBAL to new heights.
